I maybe be a little too crazy, but we also have info, that the light is behind her. So the shadow is casted towards us, being a contre-jour: her body all dark, light behind her so shadow must be towards us. If so, her right foot shadow assuming she is on a floor of some kind is more closed to our eyes. If so, the rotation is clockwise.

If the shadow is on a wall, it is hard to judge.

NO!

Looking at the shadow it CAN'T be clockwise!!!

My wife sees it clockwise, but after we looked at the shadow she now agrees that it has to be anti-clockwise, but still sees her spinning clockwise.

The light is behind the dancer, correct. And the shadow CLEARLY indicates an anti-clockwise rotation!

Crazy, Crazy, Crazy...

I can't see anything but clockwise rotation, I can't see any way to see it anti-clockwise.... So that makes me Right Sided (in the brain anyway)

But then my wife is experiencing the whole switching between clockwise and anti-clockwise thing..... So what does that make her??? She says "clever", I say "Scatter"

I've seen it spinning both directions. Generally I see it Clockwise but when looking away and then slowly turn back so as to catch the image first with the corner of my eye, I see it A-clockwise. Amazing.

No wonder!

You're an ATC and use both sides of your brain!

Do you see a pole too?

Kidding aside, I just went back and looked at her and indeed she was spinning counter-clockwise which is the opposite of what I saw her spin the first time I looked. I then hit refresh and closed my eyes for a second or two. When I opened them, she was still spinning counter-clockwise but right before my eyes, she sort of stopped and began spinning clockwise.

Now, no matter what I try, I can't get her to spin counter-clockwise again...

Okay, it changed direction on me once more for a short time but I don't know how I did it...
