We took a nice long drive this last weekend to celebrate ( and search for ) the long-awaited Springtime
So, I thought I'd share with you guys a few pics here!
We went up to Holland to see the biggest tulip garden in the world, called: KEUKENHOF - famous for it's amazing collection of Dutch grown tulips, but also many other flowers.

Below are few photos to enjoy by nature freaks (I hope there are some among you guys )

Then a little drive through Amsterdam's nice little streets, glass of Heineken, and a drive towards Dutch North sea, to get a grilled Dutch fish at Hague's beach promenade.
My 520d just passed her first 77.777 km during this trip and she's doing good, no sign of aging!

Anyway, what I meant to say here is: if anyone is around Amsterdam (or anyone's girl / wife / mom / stepmother... etc) it is well worth to stop by the Keukenhof at this time of the year,
100% you won't regret it!
Just be advised: it is only open between 20 March and 18 May 2008

Thanks!
It's nothing special: Nikon's entry level SLR: D40x (10 Mpix) + Nikkor AF-S 18-135 zoom lens + some passion for photography

Visited Keukenhof 5 years ago. Great place to go in spring when tulips are in bloom - my then 4 year old son managed to fall off the steeping stones into one of the little ponds. You can see he wasn't too happy after we fished him out

Wow, great photos! I totally expected to see Willy Wonka in any one of your pictures! It reminds me of Butchart Gardens in Victoria, British Columbia!

Absolutely. For the full effect you also need to see the evil big sister falling apart laughing with her best friend (cropped out in the 1st one )
