I purchased the 9/04 first week of Feb. It was sitting on their lot for a while - had 30 mi on it. I was able to swing a sweet deal because it was in inventory for a long time.
You need to see if your BMWCCA local chapter offers these in California! Then there would be no confusion.

A friend of mine from Southern California had the plate 2WEK469. He was about 50 at the time and his wife thought it was pretty funny.
