So last week I brought my car to Crevier BMW to have them look at my transmission because it was shifting pretty slow and harshly. They couldn't find a problem, but my SA was nice enough to have them service the transmission (change the fluids etc.) I have aftermarket warranty (Mercury) till 100,000, i took the car in at 99,800. So anyways, yesterday I get a Transmission malfunction error and i take the car back in and they say i need a new Transmission and guess what im at 100,200 miles. Now my Warranty company says they won't cover it. My SA is going to talk to a supervisor at the company and explain that i brought in the car last week because I felt it was going bad. Hopefully they cover it or BMW covers it for me. Wish me luck...

So long as the problem was noted BEFORE the 100,000 mile mark, they should still honor the warranty!
