hey john, my local navy exchange got the t2i for sale for $991 its for the t2i with 18-55mm and 55-250mm lens? its my navy exchange so no sales tax plus i might get somewhere between 5-50% off on top of the price coz of a promo. is that a good price?

thanks! will jump on this one! by the way, i know it sounds dumb now, but what the hell is the difference with all these lenses? specifically with what im getting. like, when do i use the 18-55 and 55-250? can i just use 55-250 for everyday shooting or do i swap it out with different situations and background, ie indoor vs outdoor, etc???

You guys on this site are crazy! This is the first "Mature" forum i have been on (i guess you kinda have to be to afford these cars) and i keep reading about "awsome job" this or "400 dollar dinner for 2" that, it makes me I'm just a 28 year military man that saved his a$$ off to barely be able to afford such an awesome car (well i don't have it yet still trying to find the right deal).

I am also a fellow photog (not professional and more of a Nikon guy, D300 right now but i will have a D3 soon) but great work John!

www.thephotoforum.com Has all your needs =) you will end up using both i would sugest also picking up a 50mm 1.8 prime lens. Then you would be set for most situations. Just be careful photography is just as addicting as moding cars, i must have about 15k in my camera set up one lens was 3k =) o and post pics!

i'm a Canon, but i've shot with the D3s....amazing camera. still won't trade it in for my Canon tho! but you sound like you've got some great gear there, i'd love to see some of your work.
