Having grown up on the Jersey shore, all I can say is sad, but true. Seaside is the absolute worst / best for this, depending upon your perspective.

when i went to the beach last summer at the shore you should have seen the guys! you couldnt tell them apart, between the tattos of jesus, the hair gel and the muscles looking like the veins were gonna pop out of their necks! oh it was hilarious.... where do these guys live? do they actually live at the jersey shore though?

LOL.. I've been waiting for this show for weeks. So I can laugh at all these loser. It's State Island (No offense Mel, yes many come from Staten Island) and the shore. Effin Tools.

I was actually born and raised in staten italy. It wasn't like this years ago. I moved to the jersey shore like every other staten islander. Still haven't converted into a porcupine hair steroid using douche. Us that live on the shore prefer to stay home or hit a local dive bar during the summer when the shore is flooded with meat heads. All the popular bars shown on the mtv commercial (jenks, bamboo, bar A, Tiki, surf club) are much more fun in the winter. I'm looking forward to this show, however I regret to say I live the show year after year and sadly a lot of kids from the island I know through mutual friends. After all, staten island is very small and everyone knows everyone... Literally. Those of us that haven't converted into fist pumping assholes learn to deal with this plague every year. All I can do is shake my head in embarrassment for my home town and the many fake bake tan, armani & ed hardey wearing, drakar drenched, son of a mobster mother fuc**rs.

they were showing reruns of that true life joisey shore episode ("wheres my cheezeballz!!!")...i was grinning while watching it when they were tawkin'bout temps (ie; temptations in sleazeside, er, i mean seaside heights). i never went to that place but did go to deejays in belmar once...it wasnt as bad as i thought it would be. i wonder if those places are still around.
i did spend many an early sunday morning in 'sound factory' in my frivoulous 20's, so i was surrounded by those guys, and not to defend them, but they might look like douchebags, but i found many of them to be straight-up, honest, no BS guys...once you get past the gel encrusted hair and fake tan.
this new show wouldve been better if they had hotter girls....the joisey shore has some ridiculously hot women (yeah, i know, they tend to be drama queens though)
