My Ride: See my signature
It's sad to watch a major source of high paying jobs for Americans get decimated as GM evaporates before our eyes.
But GM did it to itself by making POS after POS car. My first car was a GM -- a 1982 Chevy Caprice. In one year of owning that bucket, I think I punked down $5000 in car repairs including a new transmission. Eventually I junked it after it engine oil seal blew and I went spewing black smoke and oil all over I-80 West in New Jersey. And the POS only had about 60 K miles on it.
Since that horrific experience, I never even seriously considered a GM car (other than the CTS-V due to its 556 bhp for $60K but I wanted an E60 much much more).
