This is huge - Samsung just wrested a huge portion of the next-gen iPod guts away from Portal Player. This should mean far more features and innovation. Also, Samsung and BMW had announced some bluetooth interoperability at one point between one of its A2DP-enabled phone handsets and the E60 for MP3 playback. I wonder if we'll see some of Samsung's expertise in this area spill over into future iPod integration.
