Does anyone know of a site that still offers free reverse IP searching? I am trying to find all domain names owned by the owner of one specific domain name. Many sites used to offer free searching by IP address. Now, I can only find sites that offer the service for a fee.

Any help would be appreciated.

TIA

Rob

Thanks Rudy. But the site does not provide exactly what I was looking for (at least that I can find). I was looking for something like this: http://www.domaintools.com/reverse-ip/ If you plug in the IP address, it tells you the other domain names owned by the owner of the IP address. For example, if you plug in the IP addres for E60.net (or just the domain name itself), you can find out that the owner also owns e60forums.com. The site I linked to will give you 3 free results, but the rest are hidden.

i do not think whois.net provides this type of search.

Any other suggestions by anyo9ne would be greatly appreciated.

I see what you're trying to do now. For kicks, I went to the domaintools link you provided and put in the domain name of a company. I must tell you that it gave me some pretty inaccurate results.

It listed a bunch of other companies that have nothing to do with the company I entered. The only thing common was the name of the DNS servers listed so for whatever reason, this site wants to associate non-associated companies just because they use the same hosting provider...

There are some reverse IP lookup tools on whois (they are in bottom right hand corner, ARIN and APNIC etc). Not sure if these will help you but may be worth a try.

The results can be useless depending upon how a site is hosted. In other cases, it can be right on. Reverse IP searches used to be free, but then registrars started charging for the information, which led web sites to start charging too.
