BLITZ Agency (www.blitzagency.com), one of the most renowned and acclaimed interactive agencies in the world (labs.blitzagency.com) is looking for a System Administrator who is passionate about IT, new technologies, and committed to maintaining a stable, friendly, network environment. The perfect candidate is someone who gets excited when they overhear phrases like Exchange, Vista, Office, DHCP, Active Directory, and edge in to eavesdrop on what they are talking about. You must love working with people and have the patience to help them. You fully understand how to implement and utilize different network technologies to create a well oiled network infrastructure.

This job reports to the Director of IT.

Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, install, configure new and existing network environment consisting of Windows XP/Vista, Windows Server 2003, Sharepoint 2007, Exchange 2003/OWA/ActiveSync
- Manage NTFS / Share permissions
- Manage Avaya Phone system
- Manage Cisco Firewall & VPN
- Manage our backup system using Veritas Backup Exec & Robotic Tape Libraries
- Manage RAID 5 DAS
- Manage Anti-spam Application & TrendMicro Antivirus Solution
- Write coherent documentation for new and existing procedures.

Requirements
- 2+ years experience as a System/Network Administrator
- 2+ years experience with Windows Server family
- 2+ years experience with Windows XP
- 2+ years experience with networking technology
- 2+ years in disaster recovery
- 2+ years experience working with Virtual Machines
- 2+ years experience working with some Ghosting solution
- Clear understanding of DHCP, FTP, DNS, AD, RAID, VPN, WAN, IPSec, Group Policy, RADIUS, IAS, TCP/IP, UDP
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
- Friendly, good attitude, detail oriented, and a passion for IT
- Must have strong problem solving and analytical skills

Optional
- MCSE 2003
- Unix and Plesk experience
- Version control software (i.e. SubVersion)
- Network Rendering experience
- QA applications (i.e. Mantis)
- Scripting / Programming experience
