Well, if you drive behind a large vehicle like they did, you will not be able to brake if the vehicle you are following so closely is doing so. And such vehicles have the better brakes. So you better never ever try to follow a truck or a bus so close. If you do so, stuff like in the video can happen, and then it's only your fault.

However, it would be much more appropriate to have a camera there that takes pictures when someone enters who is not supposed to do so.

In Germany those pole systems are very rare, thank God.
