No, I reckon it's the after effects of buying the magazine that is causing the delays.
I think he must be using the tow truck to tow his own E60. (His own tow-job)!!
With all the problems appearing on the E60, it's safer than driving it in case it does go toes up (no pun intended). So towing an E60 is probably close enough for the ICEMAN to make him think he's driving it.
