I am off to florida next month and want to buy a new I phone 3gs. Can I buy one without a contract as they seem a good bit cheaper in th US compared to here in the UK.

I have a I Phone 3g just now and really like it so fancy the 3gs

you can buy one without a contract, it is VERY expensive. try ebay. wont even have to come to florida for it. but if you have a 3g, i sure wouldnt be throwing my money away on a 3g s. 3g s only makes sense if you DONT have a 3g already.

Unless you want TWICE the memory. I bought my 1st iphone the same week they announced the 3Gs. The 1st week with the 3G I had 14G of 16G filled and I hadn't seen 1/4 of my music library. Traded it in for a 3Gs ASAP. Much happier. I am closing in on the 32G limit now but most of my library is now available. Guess I will be a sucker for the next one too, as my library of music and pics expands at my fingertips.

They're $200 more out of contract. So the 32GB would run $499. I believe they're still locked to ATT's network so you would need to unlock it yourself.

Hmmm, We can get them for ?500 so looks like yours are around the same price. Only diff is the exchange rate.

I can easy unlock it as my current phone is jailbroken. great phone now.

I have noticed that in the past. If we have a pair of Jeans for ?50 they will be pretty close to $50 with you.
