watched my 3 year old back his trycycle into my front bumper last night! Little 'mater' tow-truck trike with a tow hook on the back.

Oh well! I have already conceded the fact that my car will not reman in show room condition, my three boys will wreck it With this in mind when a frisbee smacks of the passenger door, I just shrug it off..

it is just a car after all

Very true, and I will do the same when it's my sons banging into my car - but not when it's someone else's child or even less if it's an adult. Other people's things are to be respected and some fool putting his bookbag on my car will be treated like the fool he is, period.

Agreed. There is definitely a lack of respect out there. My neighbour showed me a new ding in the door of her boxster yesterday from some parking lot downtown. Also recently found a small ding on the top of the trunk , not sure how the heck that happened
