I hate Ferrets!!
I opened the Engine bay today to do a little cleaning and BAM. paw prints from little Fu***ng ferrets.
They are common around here to crawl in your bay and chew on your wires.
Thank you BMW for protecting the wires. I found how they got in there.
Here are the pics from my discovery
.

If you can tell, you can see where they came up from the laft side of teh engine bay.

wouldn't even want to imagine that. I thougt I would be ferret free though. Luckily no wires or hood insulation was eaten. I may get one of those ferret detterent boxes. It makes a sound that scares them off.
According to this web page, they are supposed to ride inside the car.

I use rat bait on squirrels. If you can keep it away from neighborhood pets, it might work on ferrets.

Ferret Treats and Deterrents
--------------------------------------
Deterrents, such as bitter apple or bitter lime can help nip train a ferret, or keep a ferret away from cords or anything else they may chew on. Tobasco sauce may be used in extreme cases only.
