Ah, not!. I have a friend. He bought a low mileage '01 A6 Avant and had nothing but problems with it. Electrical, brakes, bushings, even a rear oil seal that went out at 50k miles.

Good luck with yours.
I don't need luck with it now, I sold it when I got my 545

In it's defence though, I bought it (a 2004 model) and kept it a year and had no problems at all. The warranty ran out though and I saw nothing but big ticket price items heading my way in the future (timing belt being the obvious one). I did enjoy it when I had it. It was only after I got my 545 though that I realized how far behind Audi was in handling and braking terms. I don't see another Audi in my future.

That's a nice looking car. Will you be doing fly lighting mods for Audis?
The car unfortunately is green. But one owner, all service done at Audi. I'll just put HID low beams, MAYBE fog lights, interior LEDs, and license plate leds. nothing too crazy. Maybe possibly some wheels in the future. Previous owner put new tires on the car. This will be a work car and I dont need it for looks. LOL. Oh man Scott, u got me thinking. Mebbe RS6 body kit, LED DRL headlights, etc etc. hahaha

I plan to have ALL the recalls done by Audi after I register and insure it. I printed a list of items. I know the front driver side has a bad control arm or tie rod and best of all, ITS PART OF THE RECALL!!! Some simple electrical items under recall as well. I also think the car needs a new thermostat or water pump. Most likely thermostat and might as well change the water pump anyway. And I'll probably change the coolant too while I'm at it. I am thinking if I should DIY or let someone do it. I'll probably have it done instead. It's getting cold out there.

Are you going to repaint it Space Grey? How about a nice Carbon Black?

You gotta do HID fogs if you are using the car for work. You gotta represent your mods to the clients IMHO. Your car is a symbol of you.

i'll leave it the way it is. the paint looks almost new! ur right...I gotta do HID low beams and fog lights. LOL. I need some wheels for it. Prolly get some VMR V710s for it next year. LED interiors and license plate leds...yup....the works. ur right.

But first and foremost, gotta take care of the recalls and fix the thermostat. I most likely think it's the thermostat. But might as well change the fuel pump too. I only took the car around the block and liked it. Very minor isssues. Cupholder's broken, missing the armrest cover etc.

The thing I like the most about Audis are their interiors. Audi knows how to make a high quality, rich looking and feeling interior.

Do the V710s come in a bolt pattern that matches the Audi?

They sure are nice looking wheels although the big time bend in one of your former V710s makes me wonder how strong they are.
