Just wanted to let everyone know that was in the line of fire yesterday that we are thinking of you... and hope everyone made it through the storm ok.
Looks like it has my house as a bullseye now though... I live about 60 miles inland near the NC/SC border... and current predicitons show it comming close Hurricanes are something you get used to here, but something you never underestimate...

I'll post pics of the damage in my area if there is any... Hopefully my garage will keep the E60 safe and sound...

Oh yeah... there was a mandatory evacuation of Myrtle Beach SC and the surrounding areas yesterday... all my friends just had to call and say... "Charlie comes to the beach and all the chicks leave in droves...." Seems nature follows nature after all... :'(

Know how you feel. I lived in NC for 23 years. Winston-Salem and Goldsboro. I know how you feel about the Hurricanes. Good luck to you all and I hope no one sustains to much damage.

Good Luck Chuck, I spent the better part of Thurs and Fri boarding up. We got lucky that landfall was south of us and have minimal damage. I need to start cleaning up but its raining again .Stay safe.

Amazing what a little shift in the winds can do... Charley hit a few more miles north... and eneded up 75 or so miles west of us, and we almost got missed completely. Just some hard rain, no real wind.. and now the sun is out!

Hope everyone else faired as well as I did.

Thanks everyone!
