Huge Sturgeon caught in Lake Eerie, Ontario!

Here is a brief discription of this massive sturgeon caught in Kincardine, Ontario. Which is part of lake Eerie. Not sure where Kincardine is, but I am familiar with lake Eerie, and it makes me not wanna go in that water ever again

but man would it have been awesome to catch this thing!

Weighed in at over 1000lbs and over 11 feet long, 56 inches around!

thats insane, my dad caught a sturgeon when we went to florida, and i thought 60 lbs was insane

They're a huge fish to begin with, averaging from 50lbs to 150lbs. It's just crazy to know that these are in the fresh water lakes around here. Awesome to catch, not so awesome to swim beside
