If you do not know someone from a dealership, how do you pick the salesperson to give your business to (first person that approaches you, etc.)?

I usually go for the best looking guy because aside from he is good looking chances are he isn't too bright either (C'mon, I'm allowed to say that, right? With all the girl bashing in here and all ) so it's likely that I'll get a better deal than from a brighter, uglier salesman.

Hmmm, interesting concept.
Maybe we should look to set up a database of ugly salespeople (on a scale of 1 - 5) and measure this against the value of the deal for the purchaser. See if your theory is correct.

But then, who measures the ugly factor? Don't forget, one can be ugly and still become a famous film star.

For the benefit of the forum members, someone will have to volunteer to travel the length and breadth of the country (for consistency purposes), visit all the BMW dealerships and take measurements.

Any takers

Just noticed this in your sig!!!

"When I die, I want to die like my grandmother who died peacefully in her sleep. Not screaming like all the passengers in her car."
