To answer your question, it shows how truly uninformed the average voter is here in the US. At least that's the intent of this video. The fact that this small sampling of Obama supporters cannot correctly identify that the Democrats have controlled the Congress for several years now shows how voters here are disconnected from the process and instead rely on 15 second sound bites from the media to form their opinions. Can't say it's totally off the mark but there is plenty of ignorance on the side of both party's supporters...

True, but I've yet to see anyone as truly dumb as that lady at the McCain rally who was convinced that Barack Obama was an Arab...

Based on his name and media (right wing media) coverage, I can understand that to some extent. I don't see a huge difference between that and voters saying congress is controlled by republicans. How can any reasonably informed voter not know that we have had a democratic congress for years now? Look, I voted for McCain because I seriously disagree with Obama on many issues. But I also think the election was a great day for America in getting over a big hump in terms of racial issues. I think our our next president will do a good job but clearly faces many tough problems. We need to support him and move forward...

There are horribly ignorant people on both sides of the last campaign. Neither are a reflection of the people involved in said campaign. Well, except maybe the snow billy...

But as others have said, let's move on and do our part in rebuilding our country. I'm doing my part in sending a ridiculous amount of tax money home, made off of projects paid for my a large margin of oil money. It's not much in the grand scheme of things but it's better than nothing. I welcome the 3% increase. Still paying less than I would have under Regan!

Yes but look i also saw on Tonight's show a couple of weeks ago an interview with lots of people that didn't know the name of their actual president. So after seeing that this doesn't surprise me anymore. Should have seen when the reporter stepped up a bit more asking who is Dick Cheney
