We could meet at a caf? along the famous "Strandvejen" north of Copenhagen for a brunch, and then cruise along the beautiful road or something like that ?

I'm in!

Everybody can clean their rims / cars at my parents place before the meet Their neighbours tells me, that we always have the cleanest cars in the neighbourhood. Take into account that the E60 does 1000 km's / week.

I really like the idea of a Scandinavian E60/61 meeting! But not in G?teborg!! Driving there (unless you were born there) is a PITA. One way streets everywhere, that even manage to get both my car's NAV and my TomTom Go lost!

If I had a vote, I would suggest J?nk?ping! It is a beautiful city, especially in the summer.

Who will make this happen?!

This is turning into a geography class for me I just checked out where J?nk?ping is and its basically just as far away from Copenhagen as G?teborg, just a slightly different direction. I see its next to water, so no doubt some great picture opportunities and some cool routes to cruise along. We MUST build a cruise into the Meet... its the law! In previous meets, we met at a large BMW dealership (because everyone has it in their BMW Nav!), checked out the show room and then cruised together to "the location" for food / drinks / group photos / etc.

So maybe someone who knows the area better, could identify a large BMW dealership where we could meet and suggest a good route with motorway / twisting roads / and a relaxed cruise to the eating location... somewhere scenic / at the water??

J?nk?ping is basically half way between Stockholm and Malm?, up the fabulous E4. It might be ideal because Norwegians, Danes and Finns would have about the same distance to travel to get there, albeit that those of us in Finland have to take a 12h ferry ride to Stockholm.

There are some really cool places near J?nk?ping, right on the water, in a place called Huskvarna. There are plenty of parking lots in several places right there on Lake V?ttern.

Here is a map of the Kingdom of Sweden:

http://www.sverigeturism.se/smorgasbord/sm...sweden-map.html

AFAIK, there is a BMW dealership in J?nk?ping, also in Bor?s (half way to G?teborg) and maybe another in Varnamo (south from J?nk?ping).

A drive from J?nk?ping could be arranged in just about any direction. Northeast to the Per Brahehus ruins at Gr?nna, west to Bor?s (sort of boring), due north to Sk?vde, south to V?xj?, or whatever!

I drive in these areas quite often, but perhaps someone living in the Kingdom could chime in and suggest something.

The E4 between J?nk?ping and Brahehus is a very nice piece of motorway, too bad it's limited to 110 km/h

I've been taking a short rest there so many times, on our trips between Denmark and Stockholm (1997-2005), when we lived in Stockholm.

True. The speed limit and the amount of police in that area are a problem! But the motorway is fantastic!

It is a nice stop at Gr?nna. Great view of the ruin and of Lake V?ttern.

That looks awesome
Just imagine cruising down there with a whole load of E60s/E61s and stopping off for a photo-shoot... bring it on!
