My Ride: Alpine White 2006 530Xi (SLD)
I'm selling my car, but I'm going nuts, because every time I even pass by it I wanna mod something. I bought shift knob the other day, but that only made it worse. I look at the wheels and think "RIMS!!!", I look at the trunk and think "Finisher!Spoiler!Roof Spoiler!" I'm craving here, and I know there's no sense in modding this car, since I'm selling it anyway, so I'm offering a hand to anyone in my area who might need help on some DIYs, or smth! ANYTHING to keep me occupied, before I pull the trigger on some set of wheels in the classifieds, or smth... help how do you guys manage your mod bugs in transitional periods "between" cars?
I ain't kiddin' either - PM me if you need help with smth - if I'm not working, I'll be glad to help.

So what are you getting next?
535i - its already waiting for me. Black on black, sport, prem. Doesn't have the navi, PDC and the cold wthr - all of which I have on mine, and am really used to - but it is a 535 and its a RWD - i.e. a proper BMW

I assume you'll be going for the performance upgrades on the 535.

That's a major upgrade. Well, you can get a $250 Garmin GPS that better than BMW's in-car nav anyway.

What I AM planning is an Alpina B5 S replica car, hopefully. The whole project anchors on an alpina front lip though and that's kind of hard to come by. Otherwise, exterior can EASILY be made to look like the B5 S. I'm actually thinking to have my buddies custom make a replica Alpina splitter in Ukraine and ship it here, as one of the options.
Or, I might just get an Umnitza M5 front, if I get tired of trying to replicate the Aplina...

Not sure, actually. Its a lease and I'm basically taking it over from my friend, so I'm thinking to hold off on the performance mods, unless it really gets slow for me (which it shouldn't - not in the first few months anyway).

Sounds like your new ride will be really cool.
