Hi Gang:

We are vacationing in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Most of our time will be in Germany along the Romantic Road. We flew into Franfurt, rented a 320d, drove to Wurzburg, and now are in Rothenburg. The later two are wonderful places; we spent almost no time in Frankfurt. Tomorrow we will drive to N?rnberg--just to get a quick look at the Ring. AFAIK, nothing is scheduled for tomorrow. So, I don't really know what we will be able to see. There are two kinds of cars so far BMW's and MB's; 50% each. More later.

Best to all,

"The" Zman

Hey Zman,

You were in Frankfurt and didn't say a word?

You can drive to The Ring but it's closed for public driving since the 24h race is currently @ The Ring.

We are just touring. The BMW nav lady helps a great deal. It's nice to get into a car and know how everything works when in Europe.

We are having a great time already. Germany/Bavaria is wonderful in all ways (first time in Germany). I sort of quit thinking BMW photos since there are so many here. I'll post if I see something really special.

It has been unseasonably hot here--into the low 80's. I was hoping for 60's.
