Hey, status have changed!!

I think that number of posts to determine levels sucks. Terms like "Specialist" suggest knowledge or expertise. Yet if all you need to be a specialist is to submit astronomical numbers of posts, while being semi-ignorant, the title misrepresents the actual profile. A better title could be "retired", "unemployed", "nothing to do at work" or "pain-in-the neck".
A better way would be either a system based on how long you've been a member, with no connotation with levels of knowledge, or a system based on a test to ascertain how knowledgeable you are. Of course, one could always cheat.
Anyway, glad to be a newbie. The promotions I'm interested in are those that happen at work......

Welcome Jorge! If you stick around and get hit by the E60 forums virus your posts will go up faster then expected. Furthermore this thread was started because people noticed a change in their status.. Personally I feel the same about this as Rudy. I never check on anybodies status. It's all about how much somebody contributes to the forum in a positive way.
