i know. it is amazing to see the general public so involved.
i dont care what your stance is on the subject. seeing Americans be passionate about politics is a welcome change.

im actually embarrassed by it, its shocking that there are so many stupid people in this country. most of these people are just spewing nonsense, believing anything they read. case in point, that bullshit 'death panels' message sarah palin wote ....some people hear it and think, 'oh, it must be true then' and then they get all riled up about garbage.
the insurance companies have spent $130mio in the past two months on lobbyists and most people believe anything that is on tv when its mostly fabricated just to prevent any sort of reform.

You can always read the link I posted, it references the same points. The guy in charge of the so-called "death panels" is actually a Medical Ethics scholar and was taken completely out of context. The tactics are ridiculous, I agree, but to the people too lazy to stay informed it works. Which is why I agreed with Craig's point.

today i heard that obama wont negotiate with drug companies (ie; buy in bulk to lower prices) so that he will get them on his side....i dunno if thats true or not, but i'll investigate and decide on my own.
