That's the longest post I've ever seen or at least read to the end! And I've done some long ones myself! But, I'm at the Taipei airport with a three hour layover then on to LAX. Anyway, great job for stickin' it to the man!
I love Taoyuan - the prayer rooms and artwork are impressive. Are you flying Eva? Safe travels to you C. You do know that Eurorev is down the street from LAX We can have a west-coast celebration of BraBus's court win!

That b*tch obviously has not been laid in years. A trial for a traffic offense? hahaha wow. Good job though glad you got out of a ticket. I have to go to court for a 50 in a 30....and the speed limit was 35!!! Im going to take pictures to prove that. Plus he was an a-hole. He says I was going 60 which there was no way. I even gave him my trooper card and he didnt really care. I need a v1.

Bravo to you for standing your ground and winning your case. I once had a cop change his story in court, but not having read about it, i did not ask the judge to dismiss on the ground of "incompetent witness." Of course, the judge did not volunteer that himself and I got stung. I wish I knew then what I know now.

Great job. Enjoy the satisfaction of giving them the proverbial middle finger.

Hey man, I am flying EVA--good guess. Their service is the best! I'm at the Evergreen lounge, which rocks with all the food, drinks, and internet access. I'm only overnighting at the Sheraton on West Century Blvd. I get in at 9 PM on 10/10 and leave Saturday morning--bleck!. I'll be back through in May for a few days though! Maybe we can get a few forum members together then? I'd love the chance to meet the SoCal crew. Cheers! -Calvin

I didn't think the assistant DA (Prosecutor) could be involved in a traffic case unless it was a "must appear" citation. Usually something like a DWI, DUI, Driving suspended, Driving uninsured, are citations that don't come with fines initially. This forces the defendant to come to court, other citiations are payable usually through the mail or at the court house!
I'm relieved you won this recent court battle. A lot of times police officers don't write down notes of a traffic citations assuming you'll just pay it. I've said it before and I'll reiterate, "ALLWAYS GO TO COURT FOR TRAFFIC CITATIONS" .

Glad to here you beat the bottom feeding traffic prosecutor. They are there for a reason. If she was a good attorney, she would be working on real cases or for a decent firm. The reason they are so adamant about winning is because the fine is a tax levied that supports their department. Less money = less perks.
