The straight line performance is amazing too, faster than "anything" i've driven before.
When you thought the power in 2nd gear is pretty much what it can give, it just go to another level when you shift the next gear.
For the money you pay and the amount of fun you get, there are no other cars i can think of can replace it. Hands down

No doubt! Now all I need is to make sure that we have access to a GT-R when I come... preferably, one with a dry carbon kit all around!

I'm hoping that in 2-3 years you can pick up one for below 20k. I'll be getting one when that happens.

I can probably keep up with Usain Bolt running from one side of my office to the other side (about 20 feet).
I can also corner faster than a Formula 1 car in my 545 when the F1 car has slicks on and it's raining.
A car with 250bhp but no speed limiter can probably drive faster than an M5 that's limited to 155mph.
These are all fairly pointless comparisons, as is finding a road where the GTR isn't able to pull out an advantage.
It's like the guy on a forum (not sure if it was this one or an Audi one) who had a modest 2.5 litre NA engined car and would often race people from the traffic light. They'd beat him to 60mph, 1/4 mile, 120mph or whatever point it was that they'd basically totally won and decided to slow down. It was at this point that he'd fly by still accelerating and think he actually won because the other drive lost their nerve or something.

I think the German's haven't quite got the hang of selling cars second hand yet. They seem to have the concept all wrong. Instead of the car values going down, they're going up. There are 21 for sale right now but every one of them is more expensive than they are new.

you're telling porkies mate,
in Germany and only doing 70??!! yes maybe on that farm road on your avatar.
with your V8 and on the autobahn, u must be thrashing it at 250kmh everyday when you're out to buy a pint of milk innit?
i have to hand it to the Germans though, they do make a nice car

I don't approve of driving fast. I restrict myself to 70mph maximum.
