I had an Omega Seamaster but it was stolen. wonderful watch.
The Time Force piece (attached picture; sorry for phone pic) http://www.timeforce.es/ ; i bought in Madrid a couple years ago and I prefer it to many other way more expensive watches I've bought, a truly amazing value.
Also Check out brera watches www.breraorologi.com somewhat cheaper than omega but awsome looking/working.
If you're looking to go a bit more expensive yet somewhat rare I would suggest Krieger (http://www.kriegerwatch.com/)

I wear a Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 45.5. I can't really recommend a good online AD, but I bought from a local brick/mortar shop. Omega is really a stickler about warranties and official dealers. I hade a good relationship already from other purchases at this dealer and was able to get 30% off without too much effort. At $3650, thats a nice discount.
I recommend Omegas over any watch in this price range. Its a certified chronometer (IMO, its not worth buying anything other than a certified chronometer), heavy, durable and I wear it everyday. A certified Tag is over $5k, not worth it... I'm a larger guy, so the 45.5 really fits me well, its too big on most people, unless you are going for the 'big watch' look. Tried to look at Rolex versions, but they just seem too 'old guy' to me.
Next watch will be an omega speedmaster legend or a jaeger lecoultre.

So I took the plunge.. and bought myself an OMEGA Speedmaster Automatic Chronograph 3510.50.
I know I know.. for you watch snobs its an automatic, and reduced, but for my daily wearing needs I prefer an automatic, plus I don't need THAT big of a watch. (And I do not need to compensate for any lack thereof )
Plus you can't beat the history that this was the first watch on the moon worn by Buzz Aldrin. (well technically the Omega Speedmaster Professional was, but I have the "updated" version)
Will post some pictures when it arrives. ?
