My Ride: 2005 Alpine White 530i
After a few months of debate and consideration, I finally purchased my first Rolex yesterday I got the new updated GMT Master II-C model 116710 in stainless steel. Watch is upgraded from the older version pre-2007 with a ceramic bezel with platinum numbers, new two-tone oyster band with solid links, upgraded movement, and triple lock crown. I have been staring at my wrist 24-7 since I got it last night. Probably bad while driving but I can't help it Anyhow, I attached a few pics, looks amazing in person. I stole them from online as I don't have the photography skills required to take pictures of jewelry. Any other avid watch collectors/fans on here? My next purchase is a Tag Heuer Grand Carerra (08 model) with white face and chrono...

Congrats...that's the one I would get if I didn't have my Black/Red GMT II. These really come in handy when you travel and change time zones alot. Oh...one thing about Rolex though, make sure you pick up a auto winder to help keep it ticking. Sounds like they have improved but my watch isn't very accurate but I love it anyway. My next Rolex will be white gold president model.

Yea kinda ironic that Rolex's don't even keep amazing time.... I'll have to pick up a winder - They told me I can expect about 40 hours on the reserve from everday movement so as long as I wear it M-F minimally it'll stay ticking My boss has an 06 GMT just like yours... Beautiful!

I'm on my AD's list for a stainless Daytona. Their allocation is about 1 per month, so it might be a while.

ROLEX IS PLAYED OUT.. its a beautiful watch.. but played out... now a jager or a breitling is in my market...
This might be true, but a rolex will always be a rolex and will hold their value extremely well like no other watch.
