There we go, these are the cars that i have shortlisted and hopefully will be trying to haggle a bit on the price

if hope to be able to bring something back with me, since german dealers seem to be very rude over the phone.

Nevertheless i will be making extensive test-drives in the next 10 days or so and will try and report back

WTF happened with my poll ??? only the first three came up ?

Well, as something did not work out, I'll just post a reply.

First of all, lucky you that you have the means to buy such nice cars.
(I'm currently working my way through University to be able to do the same )

But as I'm a huge fan of the BMW 5-series, and especially of the (black) M5, I would take that car.

Good luck with your choice.

Btw, why not wait for a few months when the face-lift E60 will be on the roads, so that the price of pre-facelift models goes down? Then you would not have to pay that "loss" yourself.

ive been waiting for 16months since i sold my m3 for something quick... i dont want to wait much longer!

Anyways, i got some reasonable good prices and will be going there to have a look at the cars and haggle over prices
(and get to see what they are like on german roads )...

You are right that the difference in price between the M5 above and a new one isnt that big, but at around 15000euro its
worth taking..

Of course if nothing works out, i might just order a new one, but without many extras
