Racism most certainly exists and it is stupid, ignorant, vile, and any mean adjective you can find. However, I don;t think that in this exact case it existed. Just because some cops ARE racist does not make them all racist, that's like saying every black man is good at sports (I happen to know several who are HORRIBLE at sports, completely uncoordinated, but excellent technically in front of a computer). What America doesn't need is Al Sharpton running around pointing fingers all the time, it's really counterproductive (not to mention he's a greaseball anyway and I can't see how anyone would want him representing their corner deli much less their entire racial heritage).
