plain and simple, Today my girlfriend told me she didn't like BMWs. I was speechless.

My wife is scared to drive the Bimmer as she keeps messing up the rims. I tell her she can drive it. She just has to be careful.

everyone is entitled to their own opinion...it's not a "deal breaker" IMO

Yeah I get that a lot (mainly because no eating, no drinking, no smoking, parking far in parking lots, not handing car to Valet, etc...)
For me, it's rather women hate MY BMW, rather BMWs in general.

I have a problem with any car company that TELLS me which tires are best for ME. Until the real tires come back, I will go to the competitors. I also have a problem with a company that claims transmissions don't need fluid replacement for the "lifetime" of the transmission, which they peg at 100,000 miles. Really? You mean to tell me that our fathers' Oldsmobiles were more durable than BMWs? Now, all I have to do is figure out which brand comes next.
As for your girlfriend, she's definitely a keeper for having the courage to tell it like it is.
