It was one line in a whole string of car funnies ... don't remember the build up but it was something like ... " sooo, how much does a muffler cost, that makes it sound like you don't have a muffler at all?
I had to chuckle out loud (not LOL) thinking back the day I had a custom dual exhaust system on my 1970 Datsun 240Z - dual 2" pipes with 30" glass packs. And when I laid on it it'd cause a hearing loss to anyone within 50 yards ... anyone closer would have shattered eardrums.

My Ride: 2006 525XI, Jet black on Dakota beige. Premium and winter packages. I consider myself a purist and intend to keep my car absolutely stock and shiny.
