Wilke ran several cars at Indy in those days ... Leader Card Specials driven by Roger Ward. I think Ward won Indy in Wilke's car in 59 or 60.
Dad, let me solo a couple of times in his gull-wing. It was a dark green metallic with white leather. It was quite a charge compared to my first every day car, a 36 Ford 60ci V8.

Geez six, can you even imagine what that gullwing would be worth today? I've see it in red, black and silver at car shows, but I bet that dark green over white was really unique and beautiful.
