Florida Recommendations?

So my buddies and I plan to go to spring break in Florida, we are going to rent a car and drive. Any recommendations on where to stay? We heard Panama city is good, anyone?

There is a hotel where all the spring breakers go, near where I live...its at the end of Bonita Beach road...forgot the name...its like a greenish building..

I went to Panama City back in 2002 for my spring break. That was a great time. I loved it. Unfortunately, most of us asians didn't get as much love as other people would. And coicedentally we ended up meeting asians from other states and partying with them. Also that yeared, seemed like part of NYC followed us out there too! LOL
I dont know how it is now though, i'm sure lots of things has changed.
If you go on the right time, go to the WMC (Winter Music Conference). One of the greatest party week's in South Beach. Now that is a great time. Spent 4 days in spring of 2004. I was out there for Ultramusic Festival and other parties. OMG, topless beaches, beautiful silicone women. You can't go wrong man!

go to destin. much nicer, upscale kinda place. try www.vrbo.com and look around. I like to stay on holiday isle in a house, but there are a ton of condos. sterling shores is a great condo, has three bedroom units on the top floor.
stay away from the emerald grand, its really upscale but you have to take a water taxi to get to the beach. but do visit the board walk its located on, lots of good bars and food. try camillia grill and pat o's, both nola orginals. mcguirs is a great place to eat as well. if you can, rent a boat and hang out on crab island. its not really an island but a large sand bar in the harbor, lots and lots of people go there when its warm out.
what days are you going? I'll be there on march 17th.
