Hi guys,
I got 2 fix it tickets, one for non-updated address on drivers license and one for no front plates. I got this with a illegal left turn. So 2 I can fix and the other I can fight (sign was obstructed with stickers and graffitti) I plan to do a written declaration. Has anyone ever had stories doing this (good or bad)?
Do I get both fix-it tickets signed off and send in my written declaration + $10 total or is it $20 ($10 per fix-it ticket?) total?
Thanks!

Two separate issues. Fix-it sign-offs are one thing, but moving violation calls for in-person (not written declaration) fight. Take photos of obstructed sign from multiple angles and print out on color 8.5" x 11" paper. Also bring same-sized print-outs of diagrams (Visio, Photoshop?) showing top-down view of intersection, your location, officer's location, etc. You're after "reasonable doubt" only. 50/50 chance judge will let you walk if you're well-dressed, prepared, respectful and carrying many papers.
(Gosh, I knew my Loyola Law education would finally come in handy. ) Good luck!
