7" LCD also see it always on the plane and one sw manages all stuff, PVR, Divx, Mp3 etc...I can imagine you can swap the hdd but me I watch a movie it takes max 1gb in very good resolution and surrond sound! then just delete it

Sure. I use a PSP. It's all about finding the mobile product that blends the right competencies for your usage profile. None of them do everything well, and there are trade-offs to be made.

If you're asking why we all hype and follow the iPod (with the implication that it's not worthy), well I agree with you. It's way over hyped and way too lauded for what it is. That being said, I'm very interested in seeing how/if the new touch interface gets accepted by the mainstream user. I've been advocating such systems for quite a while, and I think it would take someone like Apple to package it in such a way as to be accessible to the non-uber-techie.
