Works for me still. This image was there, along with speculation that it's the "real" video iPod, the one depicted in the patents Apple filed a few weeks back for gesturing and chords on a touchscreen portable video unit.

it definetly looks apple and the serial number looks typical of an apple product too.

I think it's fake. Someone stated that's the serial number for OS X Server. And why would they stick it on the display?

Could be, but from some of the mac sites the word is that the "source" for this shot may be the same one that was spot on with a shot of the actual 5th gen ipod prior to its release. This could well be genuine, the rumors are that the scroll wheel etc is handled through software and touchscreen. Either way looks next Tuesday could be a big one.
