Its going to be the first major road trip with this thing, I've got a wedding to go to in PA (Near Harrisburg). Dr. Lev, i'll be passing by Pittsburgh on the way there, want to meet up?
Once I get back, I'll post my MPG and pics of all the bugs I pick up on the front end/windshield along the way

I just did 1000 mile round trip in the 550i. Got 26 mpg even while showing off the V8 power at times.

Enjoy that boring-ass PA turnpike!!! I live near Philadelphia, but have family in Pittsburgh. The only thing to look forward to on the PA turnpike are the 4 tunnels. Yeehaw! Seriously boring trip. It certainly will be better in the 535 (if you can stay awake).

Guys,
I just got back from PA. First off, I didn't have comfort seats, and I feel fine after all that driving (split some time with the wife). But I had an average speed of 72 mph and achieved 28 mpg both ways. I filled up twice during the whole trip, including the driving around town. The 28 mpg amounted to about 480 miles out of 1 tank of fuel ( I could have gotten there on 1 tank, but I was about 40 miles out and only had about 30 miles left on the fuel range). This is definitely THE tool for driving long distances. I will post some pics of some interesting sites in a bit.
