LAWS, ESPECIALLY GUN LAWS, ARE NOT THERE TO MAKE YOU SAFE. CRIMINALS DO NOT FOLLOW LAWS. THE LAWS ARE THERE TO PUNISH CRIMINALS AFTER THEY HAVE KILLED/RAPED/ROBBED.
Sorry for the rant but most people who make the above arguments like Stilling and BetterMakeWay are completely uninformed. I voluntarily went through an FBI fingerprint and background check in order to own and carry my guns. There's so much more to be said on this issue but... Reminds me of arguing about star formation, nuclear fusion, "big bang", with bible thumpers who have never studied physics, astronomy, chemistry, etc etc. Wow, after all that... I think I am heading to the range for some practice

Their uninformed arguments suggest that as a lawful gun owner, I am miraculously contributing to criminal activity here in the states and World Wide. I suggest that these unsubstantiated claims far exceed the social obligation to refrain from name calling. I suggest you attack their ridiculous arguments instead of my methods. I am on your side though and appreciate the constructive criticism
