You can I think you just have to get license or permit. I know its a lengthy process

I'll be taking ownership of my first handgun today. No real motivation for the purchase, nothing political or in response to anything. I simply happened to see a very good price on a firearm I have always wanted.

It's one of these...

I will post some pics of mine tonight hopefully.

Here is a pic of one of mine, its needs a workout and then a cleaning.

That's awesome! The P7's are fantastic firearms. Accurate as all get out. Enjoy!

Your Colts are absolutely stunning! I had a P229 NP3'd once, I liked the slick finish.

Here is that P229. I had the 40 and .357 barrel for it plus a Barsto 9mm conversion barrel (100% reliable). I had the CTC grips for it (first gen back then). I had it during the ban and had 13 x 12 round 40/357 mags and 12 x 13 round 9mm mags for it. Man, the stupid money I used to spend on factory hi-cap mags back then.
Love the P229 in NP3. I had one of the P228's like that until a guy I knew saw it and said, "that gun looks like a pimp gun." I sold it a few days later. I do love the slippery teflon finish, though. Robar kind of screwed up one of my Colts, when they NP3'd all of the interal parts, including the sear...which I told them NOT to do. They had to chip it off and re-do some of my trigger work to get it back to how it was. And the NP3 on the barrel was scraping against my bushing on the end, since the tolerances were so tight prior to the plating. Oh well...looks and shoots nice now.

I also was a hi-cap mag fan, but luckily I sold them all before the ban ended and them bought them back at 25% of the price a few months later. If I ever need a SIG worked on, I'll ley ya know, if you ever get back to the states...

Sure, Plaxico Burress can give you some tips...

Apparently there are alot of rules as to who can and cant own a gun in NYC, ask questions first...
