That thing looks fantastic!

That being said... IMO, the car is far from smart. The gas mileage is par with a Honda Civic, and half the size. No trunk space, no people space, nothing. Might make sense in Europe with the narrow streets etc etc. Might make a fancy golf cart. If you get hit by anything larger than a moped... your dead.

I guess if this is just a "toy' it makes sense. If this was meant to be "smart" then...

They say the first step towards recovery is acknowledgement. I acknowledge I have a problem.

Mod list ...
1. Its only the first step if you take more than one step haha

2. So what gets you better MPG - the Smart or your 550 now?

3. Honestly, that's easily the hottest looking Smart I've ever seen

You may have seen this, but when I had my smart I used to frequent Evilution

Great little site with loads of mod ideas, some you might never have thought of too. Also a load of maintenance help. The bloke who runs it is a great guy too.

Marc

p.s. apologies if this constitutes advertising without permission. I'm in no way affiliated with Evilution

Wow, you did all that to a commute car. I'd be scared that some mindless jerk might damage it in the parking lot.

Anyway, it looks great.

For my purposes, this was a great purchase. I needed a car to get to the train station everyday. I travel 3 miles round trip. I fill the car up every 6 weeks. It's SO much cooler than the cars you mention. I dont need trunk space. It gets the IIHS highest safety rating. Better than some cars twice its size. I hope to never get hit by anything in any car I'm in but thx for your concern.

You have a problem for sure, but it's not a bad problem to have.
Love the bumper spikes.
