Yes, that's his car. Happened on the last meet in Belgium, Nov. 27.

Is the car still there If he took the tunnel over, he could have left the car in there and saved the bother of the rest of the trip. Sort of embarrassing. How did you get the car out? Was he worried about the approaching tide? And did other owners go on to the beach?

Wow. Nice one. I see he was building up a bit of an audience. What did that cost him or would the BMW assist provide this service? I'll bet his next car will be a half-track. Would he have made it out with a 4x4. Maybe he needs one of the new 4x4 E60's.

I don't think a 4x4 E60 would've helped much there. That sand requires an SUV, IMHO.

Nothing 150 Euros couldn't fix..

(and 2 warped wheels .. ahum)

I really wanted to drive on the beach and my wife was there with her X3, but she decided to go shopping with Kigerka's wife....

How long were you picking sand out of the car. All those nooks and crannies hold sand.
