Favorite Cigar?
#32
Im resucitating this thread due to my love of cigars, I thought i would find some good suggestions for cigars I hadnt tried, instead I found the inevitable antismoking, antitobacco BS. oh well...
on with it...
I agree with the statement that the best cigar is that which you like, sort of like what happens with wine, or a good spirit.
I just came back from Dominican Republic and stocked up for the holidays.
Right now I have in my humidor
Avo Maduro No.2
Avo Compa?ero Limited Edition 2009
Avo Signature Robusto
Davidoff Maduro
Arturo Fuente Flor Fina 787
Montecristo Vintage
Leon Jimenes No.2
J. Fuego Corojo No1 Robusto,Toro & Grande (Honduras)
All of the above will be enjoyed with the complex and always magnificent straight pour of Guatemala's Ron Zacapa, or some Doublewood Balvenie or a Glenlivet 21.

Im all about Drew Estate cigars particularly the ACID Kuba Kuba. Very mild. Also enjoy the WAIF. These arent traditional cigars and some afficiandos will turn up there noses but cigar magazine agreed they are quality smokes and will be around for a while,,,anyone else digz em??

My favorites are Partagas Series P No. 2 (torpedo) and Series D LE's. Also love the Monte No. 2. Once you get into some cigar circles, getting Cubans is very easy. Though I am a big scotch and bourbon drinker, I prefer port with my cigars. I find the sweetness a nice contrast with the cigar flavors. The Taylor Fladglate 20 year is a good place to start.

Montecristo No 2
and I also like the Drew Estate Acid, Kuba Kuba....some consider the herbal infusion a waste of good tobacco, but I like it
