Many thanks for this great forum & all the advice it has given me over the last couple of years.
But enough was enough, my E60 has gone!!
After 10 + visits to dealer for parcel shelf rattle(x2 before I fixed it myself)/doorseals/software x3( 1st due to I drive crash,2nd fixed it but broke LEDs,3rd put that right)/creaky steeringx2/new battery/new set of RFTs at vast cost after 12000 careful miles.. so I decided to call it a day & have switched to another brand after 4 BMWs. I guess I was more unlucky than most but I had to get out before the warranty expired.
Again many thanks to you all.
