Some of the posts use acronyms AFAIK=as far as I know....

Would someone post some of the common ones for me. I seem to be behind in my netiquette.

Thanks
Jimbo

One of my favorites is not on that list: TANSTAAFL = There Ain't No Such Thing As A Free Lunch. I have a friend who has a tag frame with TANSTAAFL on it. He uses it mostly with reference to people who like to have the government provide them FREE services.

You mean like Ken Lay of Enron and his henchmen(women) or all the corporations that receive subsidies? or all the Republicans who hate the government but are employed by the governement? Or all the rich homeowners who deduct mortgage interest on their tax return? or business owners who deduct "business" lunches on from their taxes? or rich people whose relatives are mentally ill or disabled and collect SSI or Social Security when they obviously have enough money to support them?

You do mean people like that, don't you?
