Nice! But i don't see the purpose, i mean if there are no batteries then how is the power used from braking regeneration?

LE: A selectable power boost button on the steering wheel will allow the drivers to decide when to use the stored energy for a quick boost in power

I didn't read that, dismiss my question. New question: what is the hp boost?

I hope were are not heading into all electric F1. Can you imagine what a race would sound like? Or wouldn't as the case maybe.

loool Gents sooner or later it will happen in F1 too. Don't for one moment think that F1 will have a special reserve of unlimited petrol at their disposal !

How useless!

If the ulterior motive is protecting our environment then they have missed something...

While 22 F1 cars drive, 22 million don't because their owners watch F1

LOL i don't think their reason is environment protection...let's be serious nobody is that crazy.

However i still think teams will have to slowly (be it from their own will or regulation imposed) look at the future as the gas will get more and more expensive (not that is a problem for them, argument valid for us mortals) and will get more and more rare.
