From what i know he lost his both legs. Also now he races in a bmw 320i in wtcc. A cars prepaired special for him considering his loss. Also i admire that man so much because of it's ambition. Last year he even won a race in wtcc. The man cryed in the end...he really deserved that win. Bravo to him.
