Does anyone know of a reliable enclosed auto transport? What should I look for in terms of price? So far, I have been quoted around $1600. If that is deemed a fair price then that's what I'll pay. I just don't want to get ripped off. I will be transporting my car from the east coast back to southern Cali. Thanks.

I've used Horseless Carriage several times to transport my Porsches and they have done a great job--and they were always the least expensive cars on their trailers! They're also used by lots of folks selling/buying their cars at Barret Jackson. Intercity also has a great reputation, also used by Barret Jackson folks, most Porsche dealer deliveries are done by them, and they're the exclusive transported for the Carrera GT. I've never used them, but they have a great reputation.

A few words of advice. Don't skimp on auto transport. Use only top tier carriers, and only true enclosed trailers. Also request a top load so you don't risk anything falling/leaking on your car.

The pricing sounds in the ballpark--I believe both companies above will give quotes via their websites. Also helps to tip the driver upfront and ask them to take care of your baby!
