There is a pair of Ety's (can't remember which model) that ranks right up there with the Shure E5's. They are actually around $350. I hear that they are almost too perfect.

Even for $350, I would have them implanted. They would be wasted on me anyway, because I have a high frequency hearing problem.

Like I said, They're like M5's for your ears.

If you ever get the opportunity to try a set you'll wonder why they're not more $$.

I'm listening to songs that I've listened to for the last 20 years and I'm hearing things that I've neaver heard before.
The detail is unbelievable, the soundstage & imaging is incredible and the bass must go all the way down to 10Hz (you hear it but don't feel it).

Hey, the free earbuds that you get with your MP3 player are free for a reason.

Realityman, Have you used your earphones with a SACD yet ? Must be quite impressive too.

Haha not judging... we all know we're not low budget spenders... else why do we have E60s? I mean a Kia Rio $7777 USD BRAND NEW OUT THE DOOR works the same as a E60.

$3,500!!!!!! What kinda head phones?? I want to see... Share share share!!
